Assistant controller

General

Reporting to the controller, the controller’s assistant provides support in the controller’s various mandates. The responsibilities are:

Compile budget data and documents
Ensure the accuracy of invoices and statements of account
Close monthly, quarterly and annual cycles
Assist the controller with month-end tasks
Perform bank reconciliations
Post daily transactions in the accounting system
Prepare various financial or accounting analyses for the controller
Follow up on the accounting
Collaborate in the analysis of expenses and financial statements
Make accounting adjustments when required
Collaborate on various corporate projects
Perform all other related tasks

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting
University degree in finance or accounting
CPA member
Good knowledge of Nethris and/or Maestro accounting software
Knowledge of a CRM software (asset)
Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite (Excel, Word)
Knowledge of payroll production
Bilingualisme (asset)
Organization
Concern for quality
Sense of priorities

Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM
